NOTES The FY2002 (2001-2002 school year) the building level data include the following: School Building Contact Information 21 Indicators (Also includes indicator data for school years 1999-2000 and 2000-2001.) Enrollment Staff Data Building Level Expenditure Data Mobility Gender Race/Ethnicity Exceptional Children (students with disabilties and gifted) Migrant students These data are submitted to the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) by districts via the Education Management Information System (EMIS). The deadline for the submission of the FY2002 June EMIS data was November 15, 2002. The deadline for the submission of the FY2003 October data used in the calculation of the FY2001 Graduation Rate was December 13, 2002. 608 Public School Districts will receive 2003 Local Report Cards and designations. This spreadsheet includes data for all high schools, junior high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools. All of these buildings will receive a Local Report Card. The building statistics included on this spreadsheet may not sum to the district-level statistics, as there may be data reported via EMIS by annexes, vocational schools, special needs schools and other building types. ALL buildings for which the district reports EMIS data will be included in the district totals, regardless of building type. For BUILDING level Expenditures Per Pupil, with the exception of the instructional function, any of the building functions can be charged to the central office, if coded with the Central Office OPU. For this reason, the sum of all buildings within a district may not be equal to the DISTRICT total. For more information on how these statistics were calculated, refer to the FY2001 Building Trend Report Reference Guide located on the ODE website: http://www.ode.state.oh.us/emis click on documentation. The following abbreviations are used: "-" = Not applicable."-" will appear if the numerator and a denominator of a calculation are both "0". For example, if a district does not instruct students at a specific grade level and/or if a certain racial/ethnic group is not represented at a building or district, "-" will appear, if the numerator and denominator are both "0". NA = Not available. "NA" will appear if data are not available. "NC = Not calculated for fewer than 10 students. This will appear on the Report Card when there are less than 10 students in a category. Wherever ""NC"" appears, there will not be a statistic reported. "
